Nate Funk has been playing for the Golden State Warriors summer league team in Las Vegas this July. In his first game, he only played a few minutes and didn't attempt a shot. In his next two appearances, it appears he struggled a bit, just by looking at his stats. The good news is that he tore it up in his fourth game. He had 14 points on 5 for 9 shooting, including 3 of four 3-pointers. He added five rebounds and two steals. You can view his stats from the summer league by searching for Nate Funk on NBA.com.
Anthony Tolliver does not appear on the list of players. This surprises me because it sounded like a few teams were interested in him before the draft. Please leave a comment if you've heard anything on this situation. I'm sure he'll be playing in Europe to earn some good money while he's playing.
I really think either one of these guys could be in the NBA, coming off the bench to give someone a breather. Especially, Funk. If he continues to be hot from the outside and works on his defense, I know he could fit in somewhere. I'll keep you posted as I here more.
