Miles to Murray State

Isaac Miles is long gone from the Creighton program, so I don't want to spend a lot of time on this subject. However, I must ask: Why the hell did Isaac Miles transfer? I've tried to find the answer through numerous outlets such as local sports radio, GoCreighton.com and Omaha World Hearld, but I can't find the answer anywhere. If you have any ideas please, please leave a comment and let me know why. Make sure to clarify whether your answer is through speculation or if you have actual sources.

Some of the speculation I've heard over his transfer has been the possibility of marijuana possession, didn't make grades, wasn't up to the challenge of filling Nate Funk's shoes, wanted to play for Missouri, was upset that Dana Altman left, etc. We've all heard these at some point, but has anyone in the media actually asked him why he left?

Hopefully this is the last post I'll dedicate to Miles. I thought he had monstrous potential and I was super excited to watch him play in the upcoming season. I really think with him, Dotzler and Watts, Creighton would have a very solid team going into conference play.

What I really don't understand is why he would leave a competitive team (where he had the chance to become a potential breakout player) to go to Murray State. I'm sure he wanted to go to Missouri, but they didn't offer him a scholarship. Anyway, I guess now he's miles away.
