The Jays v. Canada - Battle of the Border Tournament

Beginning Sept. 3, The Jays will take part in a three day tournament in Alberta. The games will be played at the University of Calgary. Weber State will also partake in the event, however they will not match up against the Bluejays.

The tournament will be exempt, meaning it will not count on Creighton's record for the 2008 season. Teams are allowed to play in an exempt tournament every four years. This should prove to be very beneficial to a young Jays team that hasn't played much together. Hopefully Altman will have an idea of what roles each player will play during the season after this tournament is finished. P'Allen Stinnet is questionable for playing in Canada due to his recent surgery.

As of now, I haven't heard if you can watch the games at all online or locally. I'll let you know if I hear anything. Go Jays!
