Creighton v. Nebraska preview

It should be a fun one at the Qwest Center on Saturday. Creighton will be taking on state rivals Nebraska. Both teams are undefeated and looking for a boost to send them into conference play with a tough victory.

The Husker's Alex Maric is their biggest threat. Somehow this oaf is predicted to be a All-American. He is good, but if anything, he was just blessed with a big body. I think he is overrated, although he has had some monster games in the past. The Bluejays need to keep his point production under 20 and try to dent the entry pass.

Like Creighton, Nebraska has not had any real tests this season. Anderson is a guard/forward that can shoot well, so the Bluejays need to keep and eye on him.

My prediction is a Bluejay victory with the final score being 67 - 62. I think it will be a battle until the end of the game. It will be fun to see who steps up in Creighton's most meaningful game of the year to this point.
